Some Questions

From Gurdjieff, G.I. (est.1872-1949), a Graeco-Armenian mystic and philosopher. According to him, human life when lived ordinary, mechanically, is like being asleep. To ‘wake-up’ and be oneself, one needs to remember oneself, yet one also needs new knowledge to self-observe. This process of self-development is called “The Work”, or work on oneself.
For this I use a range of keywords. Each keyword has a different connotation on each level of consciousness. Remembering your experiences in life with each keyword makes you self-aware. You start to see who ‘you are’, from within and without, and ‘are not’. You will also start looking at others and life differently.
If you are not living in reality, you are living in a dream, illusion or fantasy. You are asleep, as Gurdjieff would say. If you want to know the real you, be yourself, and live through life consciously, you have to look at the reality of your experiences and remember.

Coaching has a plan-of-action to be tweaked to your specific problem or aim. These often, certified coaches focus on life areas like career, health, relationships, performance, wealth, business, etc..
Existential coaching is a psycho-educational process to move forward in life with oneself. It is about your personal experiences and normally you don’t have a problem to fix. Existential means “relating to human existence and experience” (Collins), “2. Based on experience; empirical.” (American Heritage).
Where no coach will talk about reality, because each person has their own point of view, I make it my cornerstone. In my opinion, psychology deals with behavioural expression and traumas, and philosophy hasn’t reached a conclusion about reality, yet. If there is no clear vision on reality and consciousness, ‘Know thy self’ becomes unattainable.
Coaching is an unregulated profession, hence there is no need for certification. There are many experienced people who coach and pass on their ‘lessons learned’. In addition, nothing should come between you and Creator / Source. Not me, nor the method I use. Look at your own experiences and feel from the heart if things are true to you. That is the real wisdom.
